Magellan 9900i is a next-generation in-counter scanner, ideal for high-throughput environments such as assisted checkout and self-checkout (SCO) lanes. Featuring pioneering QuadVision™ technology, a powerful IMX8 multi-core processor, and a four-camera system, it delivers superior scanning speeds for 1D, 2D, GS1 Digital Link, and Digimarc codes. Its design incorporates a low-profile tower (6.8 cm) for maximum ergonomics, while the optional Top Down Reader (TDR) module expands the scanning volume, offering comprehensive 6-sided coverage. It integrates Artificial Intelligence (AI) via optional on-device neural processors, eliminating the need for cloud-based processing. Additionally, it features advanced Loss Prevention solutions, such as ScaleSentry infrared technology for detecting items incorrectly placed on the scale, the All-Weighs™ platter for weighing large objects, and the ScanSentry system. It supports Windows, Linux, and Android environments, offering flexible connectivity options (RS-232, USB, Ethernet).
